Brown Rice and Whole Grains Reduce Diabetes Risk Over White Rice


A new study suggests that eating whole grains or brown rice in leu of white rice can lower the risk of type II diabetes. Replacing white rice with brown rice correlated to a 16% lower risk of type II diabetes, while replacement with whole grains reduced risk by 36%.
