Micro-LED Technology Has Great Potential for Medical Device Use

New lighting technology developed at the University of Strathclyde shows promise in an array of medical device technologies.  The microLED (mLED) technology utlizes arrays of micro-sized LEDS to make more compact and efficient lighting.  Potential uses are possible in the fields of neuroscience, fluorescence imaging, and micro-display technology.
